“Casey was an absolute dream to work with. She's the perfect combination of professional, honest, and fun. Casey came with us to walkthroughs with us at both the ceremony and reception venues and we scoped out the perfect spots together, which helped us visualize the day. She's great at responding to email and detailing out exactly what she needs from you, while also responding to whatever you've needed from her. Worried about feeling awkward in your pics? She'll pose you and give you tricks to make each other laugh. The finished product is nothing short of amazing. I sobbed my way through our video... like ugly, waterfall tears sobbing. I have over 500 photos favorited from the day too... and I thought I was being picky! Friends and family have been super impressed as well. Cannot recommend her more highly-- she will make all of your wedding photography/videography dreams come true and is an amazing person to boot!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Casey. She made us feel incredibly comfortable. Her direction never felt forced and we were able to have fun in a typically stiff situation. She was funny, patient and accommodating. Her photos were breathtaking works of art. No one could have been a better compliment for our day.”

“We can't say enough about Casey! She is incredibly sweet and genuine and made our day feel at ease. Our bridal party and family members all commented on how fun and easygoing she was, too. Her second shooter and videographer were professional and courteous, as well! She went above and beyond for us on multiple fronts. By ensuring that her lighting was going to be correct for our otherwise dark, candlelit ceremony space, we knew we'd have killer shots from this moment. By helping to keep me calm throughout an anxiety-ridden day, we knew our portraits would feel natural. By asking us questions in advance about which aesthetic details mattered most to us, we knew the day in its entirety would be captured beautifully. Thank you Casey for everything you did for us!”

Casey Brodley is the photographer you meet by happenstance but know that the universe arranged for it to happen. Casey shot our engagement and then again, our wedding. Her communication skills, her impeccable eye, her attention to detail and her personable self are one of a kind. She always responded to emails in a timely manner, delivered the pictures as promised, her cues are hilarious and effective. She gets you smiling and relaxed and when the pictures come back, you can’t even remember ever having posed for them. Casey, you’re a gem! We love you and EVERYONE at the wedding loves you and your energy!

“When we first saw Casey's portfolio, we knew immediately that she was the photographer for us. We wanted our wedding to feel lighthearted and fun, and she did just that! Neither my husband nor I have any experience being photographed, but Casey immediately made us feel comfortable. She stayed on schedule with all the family portraits, but also made time for spontaneous photo opportunities. She was down to explore downtown LA with us, taking photos with all the street art. Right after the wedding, she immediately sent us a bunch of sneak peaks and then we got all the photos back right on time. The photos she takes are the perfect mix of gorgeous and whimsical. She truly captured every moment. Casey is honestly the best!”

“Casey and Anthony, all we can say is... "wow." We are so fortunate to have stumbled across not one, but two incredibly talented and just all-around cool and down-to-earth people. We're so glad to have entrusted our wedding memories to the two of you; you truly captured the bliss, love, and (at times) exasperation-filled moments that made our marriage so memorable. Also, thank you both for seeing the beauty of life in general, and for transforming it into something tangible that we can hold onto as we grow old and cranky together.”

“Casey and her team were great to work with.  Picking a photographer has a lot to do with their style meshing with what you are looking for.  After viewing her website, she was immediately on our final list.  Then we spoke on the phone and the decision was pretty easy.

On the day of the wedding, her team was there on time.  They worked in tandem with our videographer.  They also dealt with our family and friends with courtesy and professionalism when it came to our official photos.

The photos are BEAUTIFUL!”

“How do I begin to express how grateful I am for Casey Brodley? She is an incredible photographer, and an incredible person.

Originally, we planned to have a 200-person wedding with all the bells and whistles, and we chose Casey as our photographer with that in mind. When we changed our plans and decided to have a City Hall wedding instead, her thoughtfulness and dedication did not waver. She spent the entire day taking some of the most beautiful and unique pictures - pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime.

Everyone who attended our ceremony spoke to how awesome she was - they still talk about how impressively she managed to organize the drunken groomsmen!

And the engagement session - holy cow, you guys. My husband and I are not comfortable posing in front of cameras, and were super nervous, but Casey made us look like rockstars. Seriously, the coolest pictures ever.

I cannot recommend her enough. She will be consistent, thoughtful, and dependable, and she will produce perfect photos. And she will make you laugh all day long.”

Lauren + Drew, Married At Tivoli Too in Laguna Beach, CA

"I can honestly say without a doubt having Casey photograph my wedding was one of my favorite parts about the entire day. I actually decided to hire her after she did my best friends wedding and I was so taken aback by how professional, and organized about every event of the day she was. This paired with the fact that she is so incredibly talented and loves what she does made her an obvious choice for my own special day. My pictures turned for my wedding turned out beautifully but my husband and I both agree that our favorite part about working with Casey was our engagement photos. We decided to recreate one of our favorite dates with her and she made us feel so comfortable. Nothing felt staged and she was able to capture my husband and I exactly how we see each other. I loved my experience and I love her."

“If you need a photographer, I would recommend Casey instantly. Just take a look at her work and read her blogs and you will fall in love immediately. She shot incredible images in our home with our newborn and our energetic toddler. While many other photographers might make things looks super cheesy, especially for a newborn shoot, Casey will come up with a variety of great shots and provide excellent direction that results in natural and timeless photos. My toddler would not cooperate during the session and yet Casey managed to redirect her and capture beautiful candid shots. All the photos turned out to be extremely natural looking, and her finished effects were exactly the kind of thing we were looking for. She's extremely passionate about making sure things turned out right, and her in-the-moment decisions and her keen eye for framing are what are responsible for immortalizing some amazing moments that we'll never forget.

Follow her direction, and listen to her advice, and you will have the best photos you could imagine, and then some.”

"I COULDN'T HAVE CHOSEN A BETTER PHOTOGRAPHER. I researched for hours to find the right photographer for our wedding. I wanted all of the authentic moments to be captured and so Casey's documentary style was exactly what I was looking for. From our initial emailings to our catching up after the wedding, every single interaction with her has been great as she's very personable and easy to work with.

For the day of the wedding, I was able to release control of making sure the photos were perfect and just enjoy the experience. I knew that I could trust her and it helped immensely as there are so many other things to worry about. She glided around the entire event and I only noticed her a couple of times, which was great because I wanted the day documented and not posed. When we were actually doing our limited amount of posed shots, she guided us on how to move and where to put our hands and where to look... it made it all so easy. She also took charge and got people out of the way so we could get the shots we wanted. We knocked photos out fast and were able to get back to enjoying the reception.

I've seen a few sneak peaks and I can't wait to see the rest of them because the sneaks are perfect.

Your photographer will be an important part of your wedding story and they will help you remember the story for the rest of your life. Casey is positive, communicates well, tells you exactly what she needs from you, wants you to tell her exactly what you need from her, and makes you feel like you and your wedding matter. Hire her. You won't regret it."

"Holy cow you guys! Casey was perfect! She was so calm and collected. Despite the fact that her car was smashed in the parking lot an hour before my wedding! It didn't even phase her - she continued working her butt off and created the most Beautiful photos! Casey is not afraid to take charge! Which was awesome because I have a huge family!! She went above and beyond everything we could have hoped for! My family and friends can't say enough about how awesome and fun she is!! We love her!"

“Quite simply: Casey Brodley is a force to be reckoned with. I discovered Casey through some research on The Knot. My (now) husband and I were at odds on photography (i.e. it was my #1 priority and he normally runs from any cameras). When I showed him Casey’s portfolio online, he said, “OK. I can do this” and it was game-on from there. I threw her for a lot of loops throughout the course of our engagement and wedding. It started by requesting an engagement shoot inside a Mexican bodega, a gas station (guerrilla-style) followed by a bar and a basketball court at night. Anyone who knows anything about photography knows that those are not ideal conditions (or lighting!) and she nailed it all with a smile on her face. She was such a trooper and really encouraged our creativity. She never said “no” to anything. “Yes! We can do that!” “Yes! We can totally bum-rush this grocery store and take photos in the snack food aisle!” “Yes! Let’s take pictures in the dark while people are running around us on a basketball court!” Our engagement shoot was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and those silly but thoughtful photos make us laugh and smile every day. As if that wasn’t challenging enough, a few weeks later I called Casey to ask if she’d do a photoshoot with my brides-people, just ‘cause. I value my friends so much and wanted to have memorable photos of all of us together - not just on the wedding day - but as our normal, wacky selves. Again, Casey slung on her strap and hit the ground running chasing us around Los Angeles as we shot images all over our neighborhood with seven brides-people and I through outfit changes and a lot of laughter. She never blinked, she never hesitated and she never complained. The girl laid down in the middle of the street to get some of the best photos I’ve ever taken and ones I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. And then, the wedding: A day that’s too recent to remember every single detail but the one thing I do sense is the comfort and appreciation of having Casey by my side and cleverly invisible. She was in front of me when she needed to be and then vanished to capture more of the wedding from behind the figurative curtain. The girl has a vision. The girl has spunk. The girl has just the right melding of professionalism, tenderness and a bit of muscle to wrangle the whole wedding orchestra and ensure you walk away with the photos you want. Her talent speaks for itself (just look at her work!) but it’s beyond that. It’s who she is as a person. She’s the kind of girl you want to be friends with after all is said and done. You just want to be around her to shoot the sh&% and then strike a pose. She brings out the best in people and in turn, she captures the best in you. And she’s the only person on this planet who could get my husband to smile for the camera. I couldn’t recommend her enough on every level there is. If The Knot would let me, I’d give her twenty stars!”.

"Casey was absolutely fantastic as the photographer for our wedding. When I first started looking for a photographer, I thought, god, how am I going to be able to choose someone? I don't know anything about photography and all these pictures look pretty. But as I started doing more research, I found that I did gravitate towards some styles of photography and away from others. I looked at several photographers sites, and even contacted another photographer who didn't work out because they missed our appointment. When I found Casey's site, I knew I loved her pictures. Then we had a quick phone chat, and finally my finance and I got to meet her. Out of all your vendors, your photographer is one of the only people you will actually be interacting with (and quite a bit!) on your wedding day, so I think personality and character vibes are important. We vibed really well. She is laid back, but professional. Her style is less forced poses and more just photographing the things that are actually going on during the day. She will get you a second shooter if you want it (I highly, highly recommend a second shooter, the more pictures the better!). Of course, she will also take all your required shots (and remind you to make her a list, which is really good because maybe you forgot that!). I was not into doing an engagement shoot because honestly I don't know what I am going to do with the pictures, but I it was a really good chance for us to get comfortable in front of the camera, and work with Casey before the big day. The pictures are beautiful. She made it fun! And easy! And no big deal! She will make suggestions but then also just let you do your thing. Having Casey as our photographer was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. The pictures are exquisite. She got all the shots we needed from our list, and so so so many great candid ones. She was in charge during the photo shoots, engaged the right people to help her get the right friends/family together, and made it happen pretty quickly so we got to enjoy some of the cocktail hour. She was quick getting the photos back to us, even sending a few choice shots shortly after the big day to appease (or tease!) us until she had the rest of them ready. Her site is really ease to use and download everything. I would hire her again in a minute. Thank you so much Casey!"

“Casey and I met and became friends in college, so I was so incredibly thrilled when she was able to shoot our October wedding in New England. Casey was an absolute dream to work with. She is so organized with how she shoots your day, and really protected time for my husband and I to take our first look away from all the day of craziness. We had originally planned to get married outside with a beautiful fall foliage backdrop, but the weather shifted severely and it was down pouring and freezing all day. Reassuring me the whole morning, Casey got us umbrellas, and stood outside and got soaking wet so we could get in some (STUNNING) photos with the leaves and colors. I was so discouraged that the weather forced us to get married in a tent and worried that it would ruin our photos, but Casey 100% turned my worries around within her first shot. Our day ended up not as planned, but still wonderful and beautiful, but Casey’s photos made everyone and everything look flawless. I am truly in awe of her talent and am forever grateful to her for delivering the most incredible photos that my husband and I, along with our family and friends, will cherish forever.”

“Words cannot quite express Casey Brodley’s talent for photography and working with people. Casey shot our wedding in July 2016 in Santa Barbara. As someone who went to school for photography myself, I was very selective when it came to picking a photographer for my own wedding day. I spent months researching photographers. When I finally discovered Casey online, I knew her candid photojournalistic style of photography would be a good match for us. It was also important to us to find someone who is not just talented, but also who we like as a person. She is flexible, easy to reach, and put my husband and I at ease with her great sense of humor and quirky personality. She knows when to direct/pose people and when to step back and let the moment happen without being too intrusive. When we got our photos back after the wedding, we were completely blown away that she was able to capture an incredible image of every single important moment. It is rare to find a photographer that can capture not just a few great images from a day of shooting, but an entire portfolio full of stunning pictures. I cannot thank her enough for capturing these moments with images that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you for everything, Casey! We were so lucky to have you as our photographer.”

lauren+Kevin, Married At Duke’s in malibu, california

“I knew from looking at Casey’s website that she was incredibly talented. All of her photos have a magical quality about them - perfect lighting, perfect composition, and I’m not sure if she only agrees to shoot extremely good-looking couples or if she’s able to just capture everyone at their most attractive. Either way, her website is impressive.

I highly suspected that we would get along when she suggested we grab a beer for our first meeting. She was low-key but professional, laid-back but knowledgable.

What I didn’t know was how extremely comfortable I would feel with both Casey and her videographer, Anthony, on the day of the wedding. It was like having two more friends who just happened to be taking beautiful photos and video. They were kind, they were funny, they were laser-focused, they were communicative, and they were relaxed.

A few hours after the wedding, Casey had already sent me a few sneak-peak photos. I still spend an embarrassing amount of time flipping though them on my laptop while I should be working and can’t wait to see all of her and Anthony’s work.

I can’t recommend Casey and Anthony enough - book them, book them, book them. They are amazing and I guarantee they will impress you.”

“Casey is so unbelievably talented and such a pleasure to work with. We could not be happier with the way our engagement and wedding photos turned out. Before our wedding, my husband and I had researched quite a few wedding photographers. We knew we wanted someone who could capture real moments, and true emotions. We didn’t want anything forced or uncomfortable. Casey was kind enough to suggest we meet for coffee or drinks prior to signing a contract, to ensure both my husband and I felt comfortable with her being apart of such an important time in our lives. Casey is super down to earth, and really listened to our ideas.

On the day of our engagement shoot, my husband and I were slightly nervous, but Casey made us feel at ease, and captured some really beautiful moments. Our wedding photos were equally as beautiful, and we were so pleased to see that Casey was able to capture every single detail. Our wedding day flew by, and it’s nice to look at the photos from it and think about all of the hard work that went into the planning and what a special day it turned out to be. ”

Dom, producer+Life Coach

“Let me first start by saying I HATE taking photos. I’m not good at it, I always feel funny in front of the camera and I tend to make weird faces even when I’m not trying to. I should also tell you, I’m a TV producer so I work along side cameras every day and I’m not shy to say I am PICKY. I work with the most amazing TV & Video crews so I know a good shot when I see it. Couple that with the fact that I don’t really love the way I look in pictures, Casey had her work cut out for her. I hired her based on a recommendation from a friend because I needed some new website photos done. I was putting it off forever and finally couldn’t wait any more.

Casey was AWESOME to work with. She totally put me at ease and complimented me along with way which made me feel super confident. My pictures came out very much looking like me, but better!

Can’t recommend Casey enough - working with her is a no-brainer!”

“After seeing wedding photos from a friend on Facebook, I knew we HAD to have Casey as our wedding photographer. I contacted her and we met soon after and immediately felt comfortable with her-something that was really important to us. She is so friendly and fun and encouraged us to give her feedback and photo inspiration (thanks, Pinterest!) Her prices are so reasonable, and her attention to detail far exceeded all my photo dreams.

Our engagement photos were so much fun! Casey sent us sneak peeks whenever she could, and turned the final photos around so much faster than we expected. She even helped me develop a photo schedule for the day of our wedding, which was so helpful.

She shared our excitement as we got closer to the wedding and we had the best time with her on our wedding day. I don’t know how she took photos from 2:30-11pm, but she documented our day from start to finish and had a smile on her face the entire time. The photos speak for themselves-we were lucky enough to have the best wedding photographer in Los Angeles. Thanks for everything, Casey! We love you :)”
